An ABN (Australian Business Number) is a unique 11-digit number that identifies your business to the government and community. An ABN does not replace your TFN, but it is used for various tax and other business purposes.
When your company is registered with ASIC, an ABN will not automatically be provided. You will need to apply for an ABN separately, via the ABR website here.
